WWII Draft Registration

HIGHLAND — Three persons were injured on Route 9W about 4 miles north of Highland last night after a car operated by Howard Finger, 67, of Saugerties left the road and hit a guard rail.

Mr. Finger suffered a possible fracture of the right wrist; his wife, Mary, 65, sustained a fracture of the left leg; and another passenger, Mabel Post, 65, also of Saugerties, had a broken left arm. All were treated at Kingston City Hospital.

Highland State Police Trooper Lewis Luongo investigated. Police said Finger fell asleep while driving the car.
