At the time of his death he was operating the Cloverleaf Dairy, located on his farm at 17 South Wall Street, Kingston, New York. He died of a heart attack in his truck while delivering milk at a resort in the Catskill Mountains. Wesley was an avid outdoorsman. He hunted and fished in the Catskill Mountains all his life.
